Du 14 mars au 14 avril, la Galerie Barsacq a le plaisir de présenter « Ad Libitum », nouveau projet de la sculpteure et plasticienne Stéphanie GUGLIELMETTI.
Exposition « itinérante » conçue par l’Artiste en collaboration avec la photographe Aude BOISSAYE, « Ad Libitum » s’installe au Village suisse pour la deuxième étape de son périple et notre plus grand bonheur.
Les sculptures de Stéphanie GUGLIELMETTI ont séduit de grandes maisons horlogères et figurent dans de prestigieuses collections françaises.
Plus qu’un projet artistique, « Ad Libitum » est une expérience métaphysique. Sorte de calendrier perpétuel, Ad Libitum se compose de douze tableaux, faits de sculptures, de vidéos, de textes et de photographies réalisées avec Aude BOISSAYE. Dans la mise en scène de sculptures scintillant comme des bijoux, Stéphanie GUGLIELMETTI interroge la notion du temps et nous invite à choisir la liberté.

From March 14 to April 14, Galerie Barsacq is pleased to present “Ad Libitum”, a new project by sculptor and visual artist Stéphanie GUGLIELMETTI.
A “travelling” exhibition conceived by the artist in collaboration with photographer Aude BOISSAYE, “Ad Libitum” takes up residence in the Swiss Village for the second leg of its journey, much to our delight.
Stéphanie GUGLIELMETTI’s sculptures have won over some of the world’s leading watchmakers, and are featured in prestigious French collections.
More than an artistic project, “Ad Libitum” is a metaphysical experience. A sort of perpetual calendar, Ad Libitum consists of twelve tableaux of sculptures, videos, texts and photographs created with Aude BOISSAYE. With her jewel-like sculptures, Stéphanie GUGLIELMETTI questions the notion of time and invites us to choose freedom.
From March 14, Stéphanie GUGLIELMETTI will marvel us with her watchmaking art and invite us, for the space of a visit, to savor time, which in Ad libitum, escapes all control.

« Je souhaite rester une amatrice guidée dans ses choix d’artistes comme dans l’accueil du public par une approche personnelle, humaine et sensible. Nous allons « prendre le temps » en proposant des expositions longues. Je ne m’interdis pas de casser les codes en mélangeant les genres au gré de mes voyages et de mes coups de cœur : une œuvre comme une évidence, la sensibilité d’un jeune artiste, la virtuosité d’un peintre. L’exposition Mark Tennant est le premier projet dans ce nouvel espace du Village suisse. D’autres projets suivront, dans ce lieu privilégié et inspirant que je vous invite à redécouvrir. »

Internationalement reconnue, Niloufar Banisadr explore depuis près de 25 ans le thème de la féminité dans une œuvre souvent figurative et quelquefois abstraite. Un chemin aussi difficile qu’essentiel pour cette artiste à la double culture iranienne et française longtemps confrontée aux interdits de son pays d’origine. Elle n’a eu de cesse que de les dépasser dans une démarche finalement plus vitale que militante.

From November 28 to January 5, Galerie Barsacq is pleased to present “Elle”, an exhibition devoted to the new project by photographer Niloufar Banisadr.
Internationally recognized, Niloufar Banisadr has been exploring the theme of femininity for almost 25 years, in work that is often figurative and sometimes abstract. It`s a path that`s as difficult as it is essential for this artist of dual Iranian and French culture, who was long confronted with the taboos of her native country. She has never ceased to go beyond them, in an approach that is ultimately more vital than militant.
In the past, Niloufar spoke to us of commitment, fight and culture shock, but today she takes us to a nocturnal Paris. In her new photographic series, we follow a woman who is a symbol, mysterious but definitely free and uninhibited.
